Quality content is simple content.
Having quality content in your blog has always been the most important thing. I sometime wonder why we struggle so much to keep our readers on our sites by going the extra mile of copying and pasting content from other blogs. Most authors have this tendency of fetching ideas from other sites and somehow change the introduction, yet the body remain the same. Our readers demand for fresh content will never end. They really need writers who are ready to fill this gap.
I have seen most people who have tried blogging and somehow they run out of ideas and quit. If today you are about to do so, don’t even think of it!
Now let us try and answer this question – where are the ideas? How can I write original and quality content?
In the recent past, before people realized that they can make money online, blog post were kept original and captivating. The idea of making money from blogging has made us try as much as possible to fill our sites with posts to boost our adsense performance. Authors used to write of life experiences on their chosen subject matter. I have run across several daily diaries on the internet where the writer simply share what he/she has encountered and achieve that day. From this I came to realize that content is within ourselves. What appears to be normal to you seems to be captivating and fresh to other people. The secret is to tap in to the content within.
A great example of looking within for content is Emanuel’s post: The Income Scene Story – How Income Scene Came To Be. It is not that Emanuel is a good writer but his idea of sharing how he came to realize his dreams of having a popular blog on the internet. I find the post very captivating and more so informative. How many people do you thing have benefited from this post and returned for more?
It my experience it’s clear that being original equals quality content and quality content equal traffic and loyalty. You don’t have to write about everything you’ve gone through; learn from close friends and co-workers too. What about a story about someone you know who solved a challenging problem?
Having this epiphany I have been able to develop popular posts about my work as a freelancer, including how I got scammed on the internet. Posts like these do not only generate traffic to my website but they are informative and original and not widely covered on the internet.
Content can also be found by looking at emerging trends on the internet. Search for various unsolved issues in your niche to see if you can explain how you would tackle a problem in simple steps.
I believe that coming up with original content should never be a problem; the problem should be when to post them!
