5 Solid Reasons You Should Not Shutdown Your PC and Wave To The Blogosphere

Wait!!! before You Shutdown your PC and wave to the Blogosphere; let me tell you the reasons why you should not do so.

You might be feeling bad that you’ve not seen the reward of your hard work, I mean you’re feeling like your hard work does not pay and what’s the big deal in blogging but I can assure you there’s something more than a big deal in blogging and if you can wait a little bit you’ll surely get the gains.

Yeah, we all know that blogging is a heck lot of hard work, yeah it is, but we need to keep pushing. Why many newbies fail is that they think blogging is a fast cash money system not knowing that it’s a heck lot of work, that’s why they fall off the board and they’re nowhere to be found. Even some bloggers who have been on the blogosphere for a while also fall off the board.

I’m sure you want to quit blogging because it is a waste of time and that you’re not yielding the positive results you’re expecting, why not read this post and see if blogging is worth quitting or not.

Reasons You Should Not Quit Blogging

Blogging has a Bright Future:

Take a look at how blogging was some years ago and compare it to this present time; you’ll see that blogging has a bright future. Things are changing, Had it been blogging doesn’t have a bright future you’ll never know the A list bloggers. It’s because the blogosphere is bonded with a bright future that’s why you can see bloggers blogging full time, that’s why most bloggers are able to buy a house and feed their family. Though to break the shield in other to live the internet lifestyle is kinda tough but why not continue blogging, don’t look at your present situation, look at the future, and don’t let your present situation weigh you down. Things might be kind of hard now but if you keep going and you stick to your flow I bet, you’ll be successful, also, you’ll break new grounds.

Blogging Is A Long-Term Investment:

Blogging is a long-term investment, by the time you quit you lose your dividend. Why not keep pushing?  How do you feel when you’ve been blogging for a long time, you’ve been investing your precious time and effort on blogging and you’re saying that you want to quit now? You should have quitted earlier before now. Why not keep investing so by the time you’re getting your dividend you’ll be resting and you alone will be enjoying your dividend. Why? Just because you’ve invested and now you’re reaping your dividend.  I bet you by the time you start getting the gains you’ll pray for me also for the day you started blogging. Had it been the A list bloggers had quitted and their investment on blogging had failed we will not be hearing about them today. So if you don’t want all your efforts to be in vain, continue blogging.

Blogging Is A Legal Business:

Yeah blogging is a legal business and not an illegal business. The major thing I love most about blogging is that bloggers try their possible best to give their readers the best; I mean they try all their possible best to add value to their readers’ life.  There’s nothing like scamming, bloggers are not anonymous they’re transparent, so if you’re thinking that blogging is not a legal business you’re loosing it. If blogging is not a legal business, it will not be valued in the world but because it’s a legal business that’s why many people are trying their possible best to get the best out of blogging.

Contacts Depreciate:

If you ever quit blogging today, your relationship with other bloggers will depreciate, yes it will not be like when you’re in the blogosphere. The value of the relationship will not be there unlike when you’re in theblogosphere where your relationships do appreciate. So what I’m trying to say is that the moment you quit blogging you might lose contact with your blogging friends and never get to chat with each other again. Yeah, that’s the fact. I’m not saying you and your blogging pal will not communicate but the communication will not be mutual unlike when you guys are on the blogosphere. It’s just like when a couple separate, they’ll still be communicating but the mutual relationship will not be valued anymore because what join them together has been broken. I know you would not love to lose your big blogging fans, so why not keep pushing and you’ll get to the top.

The Skills Will Dissolve:

Yeah the skills will dissolve,  if you’re the one that has been learning a lot on the blogosphere and at the same time you’ve been improving your skills in other to show the world that you’re capable, but the moment you quit , it will dissolve, I mean it will not be like when you’re in the blogosphere where you’ll want to make sure that you try your best in other to make everything acceptable but when you quit blogging it will never remain the same, it might dissolve and I’m sure you’ll be having the feeling and also you’ll be asking yourself , why you quitted blogging.

Conclusion:

I hope I have been able to convince you that the blogosphere has something in store for you, so the moment you quit you’ll not get your reward. The simple logic about blogging is when you’re able to flow with its attributes I bet you will be successful. You just stick to your flow and wait for your results. In case you don’t know the attributes of blogging I’m talking about check out my last post on Blogging Thou Made Easy -Don’t Get It Twisted. And if your experiencing the burn out feelings, you can arrange guest post on your blog so that you’ll be able to have a break and refuel your energy. It’s just as simple as ABC!!!

In some ways blogging is like digging for treasure. You never know if you are about to unearth a find unless you keep going.

Success is usually NOT instantaneous. Check That. Success is almost never instantaneous, but I do believe that at some point things begin to get a life of their own and you stop struggling for every reader.

When people quit because it seems, “too hard” there is always a distinct chance they were about to hit that “sweet spot” and good things were about to happen.

The fact that everyone in the future will basically need to have some kind of web presence is enough to stick to your blog – employers will be looking to the web to find out what your skills are so forget the old resume – you can always start your own business from your blog or just use it as a platform.

You don’t have to write every single day; you just need to stay active and that’s about it, ya know?

Hi Samuel

Didn’t know I’d bump into you here guest posting. Well done :-) Even in the short time I have been blogging, I have noticed some people are not posting as often. If I go to a blog and there hasn’t been anything for a couple of months I do wonder if that blogger is still around. Need to be consistent and as you say don’t give up.

I agree with Murray. Soon it will be a prerequisite in any business to have a web presence. We are already ahead in that we do have one and building on that all the time. for me, I’m keeping on, keeping on. Thanks for sharing with us Samuel.

Internet has become popular in such a small number of years that I too tend to think that in the future companies may require you to have a certain presence online and I presume that most of the people will go for blogs, being personal and all. Starting young and continuing can establish you as a high roller later on and if we look in perspective you don’t really have something to lose (maybe some coins for hosting and domain renewal) only to gain.

You have to just think of blogging as a process. It’s really a way for you to learn as a blogger as well as to share your thoughts with others. As long as you continue to think that way, there’s no reason to quit.

Hi Sam,

I think even with the explosion of blogs on the internet. There are a lot of people especially business people who don’t understand the power of blogs. Even corporate companies don’t understand why blogs are important.

These groups of people don’t see blogs as a medium to propagate information in the farthest way possible. For example i.e promoting your blog through social media. Unlike normal brick and mortar businesses, your advertising is bounded by what the advertisers want and what they wanna hear and they only target a certain country if it’s released on TV. On the internet the potential is limitless.

If big businesses know how to use blogs like how we do, I believe it will take them a long way

Great post though, Sam!

Hey Samuel,

Liked your article and I strongly agree with you. Now it is the worst time to quit blogging, especially if you have started to gain recognition. The reason is that blogging will become more and more important in the future. It will be something like Facebook nowadays. In the last couple of years so many companies created their own Facebook page, because of the huge potential to get seen by more possible clients. Same thing might happen with blogging too. So in short quitting, just because you hit a problem is not a solution. Perseverance and hard work can get you out of pretty much every bad situation, if you really want it of course.
