All bloggers usually want their new posts to get crawled as soon as possible, BUT there is no guarantee if Google will even index them or not, but you must keep your self on track by maintaining your blog for the entrance in search results. Keep in mind that you must treat your site accordingly, like your site is totally new and you started giving it a dose of too many backlinks, then it may be considered as spam, so do this carefully. Just take a look on the points so that you can understand why your posts are not getting crawled.
Crawling Work
When a new post is popped up in your site Google spiders will jump onto your post, now it depends on many factors why your post is not getting crawled. If you’ve not optimized your post with relevant keywords and have no good content it may not be crawled soon. So, make sure to optimize your post as much possible with relevant keywords and good content.

It also depends on many factors but you can increase the index rate by interlinking your posts, and you can automate this process by using a plugin called as SEO Smart Links. It will automatically add links to other related post within your article.

Its usually a slow process for new blogs, so it will take handsome amount of time to get indexed so be patient. If you optimized your site with good content/keywords and completed all basic steps link submitting site map and etc, it will get you indexed faster. Other main thing is to keep building links towards your site it will surely increase your index time, and if you generate some links directly to your post they will get index more faster.
After you’ve Indexed
After you’ve indexed its not all done, Google spiders will keep coming towards your site to check the quality and uniqueness of your content. So, better take care of your old posts as well.

Well, to get your posts indexed you don’t have to write great posts or have well research keywords. The fact is that the crawl rate only depends on how many backlinks you have pointing back to your domain and how much new content you are posting.
For example Google spiders chills on newspapers website because it can’t keep up with their new content rate and they have to crawl their website constantly in order to deliver the newest results about upcoming news.
The only relevant thing I read in your post that can help improve your crawl rate is interlinking and building backlinks, this are indeed one of the most important factors when it comes to getting your new posts crawled.
Also, wordpress has a built-in feature that automatically pings search engines when a new post is published, which will announce them that you have new content on your website and they should come and see what you wrote.

True! A very true post. Though you cannot see immediately the result of Link Building, it’s proven to be effective for your post to get crawled.
Most of the time blogs posts start getting indexed immediately once the blog has become a month old with consistent posts.
If for some unknown reason the posts aren’t getting indexed quickly you can set the crawl rate in google webmaster tools. that might be useful.
