One of the biggest obstacles many bloggers face is getting traffic to their blogs. Essentially traffic is the lifeblood of any website or weblog on the world wide web, without it you might as well not bother with blogging. We all want traffic and what makes it even more challenging, is the simple fact that there are literally hundreds of thousands of blogs and websites out there all competing for it. So what can you do about it? Let’s take a look.
Content is the ultimate king…
Yep I’m sure you’ve heard it over a gazillion times before, so why is it that many bloggers with very few content (posts) on their blogs still don’t get that content is king. It’s probably fair to also state at this point that quality content is King; visitors come to your blog to read quality content, they want to know what you know. Many bloggers after a time go completely off course by bragging about what they’re good at or how great they are. Whilst this is essentially important in blogging too, it’s not what draws people to come back to read the content of your blog.
…So first off to getting traffic to your blog is to ensure that you keep up with creating top quality content on ultimately a regular basis that will attract visitors back to your blog again and again.
Get social…
Generic as this may sound, but still to this day many bloggers particularly newcomers totally miss the point of the importance of using social media. Ultimately when we speak of social networking most people automatically think of Facebook and Twitter, there is more to it than that. Using professional social networking sites such as LinkedIn and eCademy are essential platforms to use to promote traffic to your blog as well.
Consider recording a few podcasts even, or create a few tutorial videos and upload them to YouTube.
Search is God…
Yeah, yeah content is King so what? Search is even bigger, search is God. Almost every living organism on the planet has or uses the search engines, in particular Google to find something online at some stage during their evolution, if not in this life maybe their last. Ok maybe that’s a bit insane thinking like that, but what I’m trying to say is that search engine optimization is traffic to your blog wrapped up in shiny gift wrap. That means doing consistent on-page SEO, tagging photos, using heading tags, doing internal linking, getting inbound links through article 2.0 marketing and most importantly guest posting.
I’ve figured out that the tasks involved in building traffic to a blog is easy, some might argue that quote… But it’s the relentless amount of work you have to put in for little rewards that is the real test of anybody’s perseverance. With that in mind, stay focused, stay motivated and go get that traffic, good luck.

No doubt in that these are the very important part to make a good blog post.
When any blogger is post a new blog post he is thinking lots of things about that and he rights to see dreams for great traffic on his blog post and he/she wants to see much comment on his/her new blog post but it can be possible after apply these things which you are mentioned in this blog post.
I agree content is king, but people do not come to a blog to know what you know, they come to a blog to learn something or solve a problem through your blog. If your content can solve a problem or get the reader to learn then it will be my guess the reader will eventually come back fro more, because you are providing quality content that helps him or her, with that said, traffic eventually increase.

Off-late the best way to get traffic is via search and the cheapest way to do it is with good content. This is the age for social marketing and unique content. Pay per click advertising programs to bring in traffic to a normal blog i too expensive and is not worth it. Back in 2004, I used to use a pay per click program called goClick to bring traffic to one of my websites. I just had to pay 1 cent/click. With time, the quality of traffic dropped significantly. In a couple of years, they closed down. That was the end of 1 cent visitor.

Content is indeed the king when it comes to a good website. But sometimes i feel that advertising your website is also very important if you’re trying to get your name out there. If you created a blog with great content, but yet, nobody is visiting your blog. Then that may be totally pointless. Writing great content is good because it allows people to share with their friends about the content you wrote. And when that happens, you’ll have returning readers.
That’s true alot of people have bad content … So you need to have great content for people to come back. Quality over quantity!!! Blogging is hard you just have to be really dedicated!!
