I know dam well your schedule is crammed to the max. If you’re determined to build your own business, more than likely you’re over booked with work. There are countless projects, and not enough time. Most bloggers are in a rush to hit the spotlight. Why be in a hurry to hit the spotlight? Let’s take a profounder look.
The Average Entrepreneur
You start your journey with the maximum motivation level possible. Your fantasy is to stand out from the crowd. The world is in your hands and you can accomplish anything you set your concentration on. When it comes time to work, you grind your ass off. A couple months down the road your enthusiasm starts slipping while your focus gets further off track.
New entrepreneurs begin with little knowledge of the journey they are embarking upon. You have goals of building something from nothing. When it comes to the business you think what can I do to make money now? You believe the quantity of work you produce is better than the quality. Here’s the real truth behind the mindset you have. Rushing your success is likely pushing you further away.
How Hard Should You Work?
This is a respectable question. Every entrepreneur should work their ass off till they can’t work anymore. There is no point in doing anything, unless you’re giving it your all. In this world we live in, there is always someone trying to our work you. Shit, I’m trying to out hustle you!
What’s more important quantity or quality?
Personally, I believe quality is far more essential than quantity. Would you rather write 10 articles that send you 100 visits per day, or 2 that do the same? It’s much more valuable to take your time, and work as hard as you can at endorsing your best content. Plus, you will be saving your hand from unnecessary pain. Trust me when I say, “you will see the reimbursements in giving your all”.
The first couple guest post I wrote, I rushed. The effort I put into these could be seen a mile away. What little time I did spend on those was for nothing. The blog owners felt they weren’t good enough quality, so they didn’t accept them. Even if they did, the articles wouldn’t have provided me with much traffic. Either way I was putting myself in a losing situation. Getting my articles rejected had a strong damaging impact on my motivation. Living life comes with many lessons to be learned. The lesson I learned was, the only way to make it online was putting my best foot forward.
The Correct Blogging Mindset
To become a successful blogger you have to develop the correct mindset. The mindset you have will determine your accomplishment. You have to trust that for blogging persistence is your strongest weapon. It doesn’t matter how stupid you may be. If you persist, persist, persist you will learn, develop, & conquer anything in your path.
You have to be willing to learn and develop. No blogger starts out knowing everything. Even the A-list bloggers don’t know it all. The thing that keeps them on top is that they are still willing to learn and develop. The process is never ending, because times are always changing. Be determined to succeed and you will find your way. In your quest to become a professional stay realistic with yourself. An unrealistic goal has to be one of the biggest motivation killers for fresh entrepreneurs. Please, don’t make that mistake.
Conclusion
It takes a lot of hard work over a long period of time to become prosperous. Take things one day at a time. You might not get everything done you planned. That is perfectly okay, there’s always the next day. If I can leave one thing with you today, it’s not getting too far ahead of yourself. The last thing you want to do is discourage yourself eventually giving up all together. Focus on what you have to get done for that day. It will aid in keeping you motivated.

William,
Having a right mind set surely helps. I started a couple of blogs and it died off and I do not even remember the passwords as I had not plan for it. Now, I am starting again with little better plan, I hope this one sticks. Thanks.

Hey Mike,
Thank you for taking the time to comment!
You are absolutely right having the right mindset is a big step in the right direction. I also started a blog a while back and I gave up on it after a while when things weren’t going the way I had hope. My motivation just kept getting lower & lower till I was like forget this.
I still remember the password though hehe ( ;
The truth is you will never get anywhere being a quiter. That is just the honest truth. Persistance is your best weapon when taking on any business. It might take you longer than the next person but if you keep hang in there I believe you will be successful eventually. You just have to work at your own speed.
Thanks again.

To start a new blog, blogger need to prepare good plan for both short term and long term online business through the blogging include:
1. Set goals for future life with the blogging
2. Prepare blogging plan: niche, blog design, traffic methods, how to monetize a blog, list building
3. Implement the blogging plan
4. Be consistent and focus it
The plan must be realistic to reached. At the early time, blogger must spend a lot of hours per day in many days or even many months for the blogging, after the blog begin monetize big profit monthly, the blogger can spend 2 hours per day only.

Hey iman,

I agree with you before a new blogger starts his or her journey they should plan things out. They should ask themselves why are they doing what their doing. You have to plan out the audience your going to reach and excatly how you are going to get that traffic. You make very good points here.
The plan you make must be realistic because a unrealistic plan can be your blogs downfall. When you set unrealistic goals it has a huge negative impact on your motivation when you realize it’s not possible for you to reach them.
Thanks again!

William,
Good post about the virtues of working hard. When it comes down to it, an entrepreneur is in charge of his own destiny. What they earn is directly proportional to how hard they work. So the question is how much do you want to earn?

Hey Richard,

You are absolutely right every entrepreneur is in charge of his or her own destiny. No one else is going to do anything for you, so you have to have the self motivation to make something out of nothing for yourself. In order to get anywhere in life one has to understand the values of hard work. Hard work & persistence will take you anywhere you want to go.
What a entrepreneur earns is directly portional to how hard they worked. If that person puts in little to no effort then they are going to earn little to nothing, because everyone will easily be able to see your effort. On the other hand, if you give your business everything you have hen you are giving yourself a much higher chance to earn more money.
Thanks again.

Of course that having a positive attitude and having confidence in yourself can help you more then just being a pessimist. Because we all know that people won’t trust someone who don’t trusts itself, and when it comes to blogs, readership first have to trust you(as in trust to provide great content, advices …) to subscribe and etc.
Also, you mentioned that you had your articles rejected and because of that you started to write higher quality content then a lot of it but with no worth. I must say that you are a living example that one of the best way to perfect something is to do it, and even if you do it wrong, to learn from those mistakes.
Have a nice week, William!

Hey Alex,

I also agree that having a positive attitude is a big step in the right direction. Postive things happen to those with a positive attitude. When you have a positive outlook on situations you are much more likely to find the good out of the bad. There is always something positive you can take from a bad experience. You just have to keep a positive outlook on the situation.
You are right no one would ever want to follow someone who doesn’t even believe in there selves. It can easily be seen a mile away of you don’t have confidence you your own work. People have to trust that you trust the work you promote if they don’t realize you don’t have confidence in your own work at first, then they soon will later on down the road.
When I first started writing I had the idea that I wanted to write for as many blogs as fast as I possibly could. Well that didn’t work out too well, because like I said i got rejected. But, life is all a big learning experience you have to learn from your mistakes. I learned that if I just take my time I can write articles good enough to be published for other bloggers.
Thanks again!

I think a lot of the initial connection can take place right here – in the comments. You have to introduce yourself one way and I think that’s one of the big benefits of commenting – being able to say “hello”.
From there, I’d start connecting with others on social network like Twitter. After you make a few connections, a simple thank you email can do wonders to catching someone’s attention.
It’s much like a regular friendship: you have to introduce yourself and then provide value to the other person until you both have a great connection.

Hey Murlu,

I totally agree with you, comments are a great way to introduce yourself and meet other people with the same intrest as you. Commenting has many benefits, but as you said one great benefit is being able to say “hello” and let someone know hey, I’m watching you.
It also makes that person very happy that you took the time to leave them a comment. Everytime I get a comment it just fills my heart with joy, because I love hearing what others think about what I have to say.
It can easily be the start of a beautiful relationship!
Thanks again!
