I’ve been selling on eBay since 2006. I started selling my own belonging after picking up a book about eBay selling. Although I loved watching people bid on my stuff, I hated the packaging and shipping part of it. Later on I began drop shipping by finding some great companies though Thomasnet.com as well as Worldwide Brands. The one thing you give up when you use a drop shipper is control over problems like lost packages and late shipments that occasionally occur. Sometimes the problem is not with the product but with what is promised and communicated through the online listing. Most eBay buyers understand if you are honest with them and provide reasonable refunds and returns when requested. However, a short time ago, I received my first negative eBay feedback without any warning or chance to make it right.

eBay doesn’t send you an email when you receive a neutral or negative feedback, although I wish they would. It is up to you to log-in regularly and monitor your feedback to ensure everything looks good. When I found out that 1 unsatisfied customer dropped my feedback from 100% to 97% by casting his single vote, it made me very upset. Turns out that the customer thought he was receiving a boxed game not a digital products that was mentioned 4 times in the listing. Rather than blow up and send him a nasty email, I composed myself and took the following steps to reverse this negative feedback.

Contact The Buyer

I send an email to the buyer thanking him for providing his feedback and then asking him what I could have done better. The message when like this:

—————–

Hi Anthony (real name not used),
Thank you for confirming that the game files make it to you safely! I hope you enjoy the game this holiday season.
I would also like to thank you for providing your feedback. Whether positive, neutral or negative – it helps me as a seller to understand how eBay buyers like/dislike my products as well as interpret my listing.
This is my 5th year selling on eBay and during this time, our recent transaction was my first negative feedback. As a student of continuous improvement, I wanted to see if I could understand why you left the comment:

I received the game via e-mail in pdf format instead of a boxed game as promised
Perhaps the wording of my listing was misinterpreted or misleading. I try very hard in my listing to make it clear that this game is sent digitally via email, rather a boxed game by stating in the listing:

Please Read: We’re happy to make this murder mystery game digital, to reduce shipping emissions, the need for plastic cases/CDs, as well as to save you money (since shipping charges can be up to 50% of the cost of the game!!). All files are sent to your email inbox in .pdf format – which is compatible with all computers. In order to play, you’ll need to have a printer to print the .pdf files. Thank you.

I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this matter since, as a eBay seller, I am constantly being judged upon feedback numbers. Perhaps if you could kindly review the listing again with a fresh perspective and give me your thoughts on what I could do differently, that would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to your reply.

————–

Wait for a Reply

This can be a very difficult step as you want immediately put a band-aid over the situation. Be patient. Go for a walk and relax as the ball is in the buyers court.

Digest the Reply

Anthony got back to me a day later and wrote:

——–

Dear Gavin,

After reading your email, I went back and checked you eBay site again to recheck to see if I’d had made a mistake. I did not. to quote from your ad: “A BRAND – NEW UNUSED, UNOPENED, UNDAMAGED ITEM” This to me refers to a boxed game.

So you see why I believe you duped me into buying something I did not receive. If you send me a boxed version of this game, (like I should have received in the first place) I will re-evaluate and re-adjust your feedback.

Regards,

Anthony

——–

Anthony made some good points although my listing mentioned 4 times that the game was digital. Rather than getting defensive I stayed open-minded and put myself in the shoes of the buyer. I read and re-read his message several times until it was clear what I had to do.

Stay Positive and Persistent

Buyers hopefully will give in if you show that you are good intentioned and are unrelenting in making things right. I responded to the last message with this:

——-

Hi Anthony,

Thank you for feedback and pinpointing the problem.

My intention was not to dupe or mislead. When you create an eBay listing, eBay makes you select the condition: either New or Used. When you select ‘new’ eBay then adds the description: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item (including handmade items). See the seller’s listing for full details.

Regardless of how eBay means for people to interpret ‘new’, my main concern that you did not get what you were shopping for. I would like to make things right for you. Please let me know what I can do. I would be happy to cancel our transaction and refund you in full so that you can purchase the boxed game that you were looking for.

My goals are to get you want you want, and if you’re willing, to change my negative feedback to at least a neutral so that I can continue selling on eBay.

Let me know what you think and I hope we can work something out that’s mutually beneficial.

——-

The same day Anthony got back to me and I either convinced him that I was a good person or he was tired of wasting his time over a $15 murder mystery game. You’ll notice that I didn’t ask for a Positive rating – that would be greedy. A request for a Neutral rating is just what you want to do and many buyers will reward you with a Positive rating because they realize that you’re not a greedy little pig. Anthony replied to me with this gem:

———

Hi Gavin,

Thank you for making things clear to me. I now realize what and how things got screwed up. I appreciate you sincere concern for my happiness and satisfaction. I will not ask for a refund because we are already committed to the game. I will however change your feedback rating to positive since I now realize the steps you took (and the steps you were about to take) to satisfy my displeasure. I’ve dealt with some scam artists before and I apologize for treating you like you were one of them. I am now completely satisfied with your replies and explanations. I now see you are an upstanding person. If I ever need another game of the same sort, I will definitely shop with you again. My apologies and thanks. Best regards, Anthony

ps please ask for a feedback revision on ebay so I can change the status from negative to positive.

———

Requesting Feedback Revisions

The next day I sent him the application to change the feedback and by the end of the week my feedback was back to 100%.

Although the process was long, tough and uncomfortable, having a 100% feedback rating guarantees you sales from countless eBay buyers who only deal with those who have a perfect rating. Reversing a negative feedback is like starting a new business – it requires listening to your customer, making sacrifices and being patient. These traits are difficult for many to master but for those that do, the journey will reward you handsomely.

One of the easiest ways of making money online is through blogging. Though it requires a lot of hard work, it is a relatively simple process. You can either buy your own domain name or use one of the many free blog providers. The key is to start a blog which comments on or covers a topic which you are interested in and familiar with. Once the blog is launched, you need to think of the best way of monetizing it. There are several options available for monetizing a blog.

Contextual Advertisements

This is one of the best ways of monetizing a blog. There are several contextual ad networks, the most popular of which is Google Adsense. The blog owner uses a code on their blog to show different advertisements from the network. The network uses this code to analyze the content of your blog and then place ads which would be of interest to your readers. Therefore, sports ads will appear in a blog about sports, food related ads will feature in blogs about cooking, etc. The ad network pays the blog owner a fee every time someone clicks on those ads. Contextual advertisements have generated significant income for my blog which promotes register.com discounts and webhostingpad coupons.

Amazon.com

Through the Amazon program, blog owners can post descriptions, links or photos of any of the products sold by Amazon. If someone buys anything via the blog owner’s site, the owner receives a percentage from the sale. This program can be easily incorporated with the content of any site since Amazon sells all kinds of products.

Paid Blog Posts

A paid blog post could be one that overtly promotes an item, website or service. It could also be a post written for information purposes, but with certain keywords included. Some blog owners will only pay once the post in question attains a specific amount of traffic and popularity.

Affiliate Programs

Another great way of making money online is through taking part in affiliate programs. There are hundreds of affiliate programs that you can join. Once you join an affiliate marketing program, you can then begin promoting their products. For any sales which are made via your blog, you will be paid a percentage. This percentage varies from one affiliate program to another. The Ninja Affiliate is a great linking tool that will simplify your affiliate linking and boost your revenue.

Blog owners should continually update their site content, and also improve the advertising and marketing of their site. With a high flow of traffic, there will be a greater likelihood that someone will click on an ad or buy a product through an affiliate link.

Blogging has emerged as a competitive ad innovative process of mass communication. The information required to set up a successful blog is all over the internet. Yet, the success rate of most blogs is quite low and there are more failures every day.

Of the many causes that can be attributed for this occurrence, setting unrealistic goals or in some cases not setting up any real blogging goals at all, takes a major share of the credit here. It is vital to have realistic blogging goals; they are your guiding lines to keep your blog on track even when you are confused with the numerous details related to your blog. It is just as mandatory to monitor the psychological aspect of blogging as the creative or technical aspect.

Realistic and reasonable blogging goals are the measures of an efficient psychology to support your blogging process.

You are the one to decide the specific boundaries that you consider realistic when you measure your goals. Here is a rundown of points based on which you will evaluate this decision.

Be specific with your blog goals

Vague goals do not set up a finishing line, which means it is difficult to gauge when you have satisfactorily achieved the intended results and you need to stop. Specific goals are necessary because the process of creating a successful professional blog resembles the working of a charged machine. You have to be specific to keep the time management, technical details, and creative outflow in the perfect working balance.

Quantify your blog goals

The vitals of your blog goals need to be quantifiable. Simply deciding you need to increase your subscribers‘ growth might not be enough to motivate your endeavors to make that happen. However, if you mention a precise quantity of intended subscribers’ rate for a precise period, you are more likely to get results.

The important part is these results will be comparable with the next period target or evaluated against the previous batch of results. This sort of comparison helps gather information that can create a comprehensive analysis of your blogging efforts. It will definitely help you pick up the slack in areas that need immediate attention.

Goals should specify target action

Orienting your goals to match the related action just simplifies your task in the schedule. Non-targeted goals require on the spot research where you will be frantically cramming up information to understand what you have to do to meet the target requirements.

Instead, complete your research and go through the information to understand the specific action required. Mention the relative action with the desired goal when you plan your blogging goal schedule.

Measure of realism

Always weigh in your desired output against the estimate of possibility. It is vital to set blog goals, but in the wake of a list of impossible goals, your only sure outcome will be disappointment. Setting achievable goals will ensure you are motivated throughout the process with each rolling success and lesser chances of the entire thing tanking down due to failures.

However, you should have a realistic approach; this does not mean you set over easy targets for your blogging process. Maintain the difficulty level but balance it out with target-oriented efforts.

Allot a definite time frame to each goal

This is probably the most important assessing feature of a blogging goal schedule. You need to allot a clear period for each goal. This will help you manage the complete schedule without the process overwhelming (or taking over) other aspects of your life. Try to stick to each allocated timeline.

In case there is a deficit you can always schedule in separate time for covering them. This will stop you from over compensating for the schedule and effectively keep your blogging process on track.

Motivate yourself with positive rewards and reaffirmation

When you make substantial efforts towards creating a successful professional blog, the reward waiting for you at the end of the line is the blog and the revenue that you generate with it. However, down the line, the track can get a little tiring and stark without regular motivations.

Creating positive reinforcement for the small but significant achievements can encourage you to want the bigger outcome more fervently. Set aside some time to analyze the day’s output and reward yourself for every point of success.

The journey of creating your pro blog is majorly self-motivated, so you have to step up and take charge of your blog goals and keep track of your achievements and failures. However, the journey is also a great experience so remember to savor it every step of the way.

Creating your own information products is one of the most profitable ways to generate income on the web. But people often make mistakes that keep their earnings low or prevents them from making any money at all.

Here are 3 mistakes to avoid when creating information products that will not only help boost sales but will give you the confidence you need to get your product off the ground.

Dropping an Idea Because It’s Been Done

I hear this all the time. Someone has an idea for an ebook but because there are other products already on the market, they drop the idea. Big Mistake!

Your sales result from the buzz that goes on around YOU. Those other products have their own marketing connections. For every person that creates a product, whether there are 100 more just like it or not, there is enough business to go around for each of them if they can create their own buzz.

That’s really what internet marketing or any marketing is about, creating your own circle of followers, customers and buzz. That marketing circle around you is your business. It doesn’t matter about the similar products that some other person is selling, your customers and followers may never hear about them, but they do know about you. That should be your focus.

It’s also important to realize that people often buy the same information from different experts. Have you ever done that? I do it all the time. Sometimes it’s just to see the common thread that runs through each product, sometimes I just like getting different ideas and opinions.

Your product is uniquely you, and if people like what you have to say or what you stand for then their curiosity will peak and they’ll buy from you even if there are other similar products on the market.

So if your idea has already been done, don’t let that stop you. You can always take what’s out there and do it better, and that’s a sales strategy you should capitalize on.

Pricing Your Product Too Low

Price your products for what is fair and relevant to the value being offered. Never judge what others are willing to pay. You should be pricing your products in terms of great content and the value being offered.

Often times price can be a perception. The higher the price the better the value. But be darn sure that your information product delivers on what you say it will. A hyped up sales letter that doesn’t live up to its promises is sure to destroy your reputation as well as your sales.

A good rule of thumb is to take a close look at the knowledge contained in your product and think about what you would consider valuable if you were buying the product yourself.

Not Getting Others to Promote for You

One of the best ways to catapult sales and traffic is to develop an affiliate program for your information product.

One reason folks shy away from the affiliate concept is because they want to keep 100% of the profits for themselves, and you will for the sales that you make, but what happens when you have multiple people promoting for you? Of course you’ll have to pay them a commission of the sale but overall you’ll be making much more.

Here’s an example. Let’s say I make 1 sale a day with my $47 ebook. That’s $329 a week. But let’s say I have 5 affiliates, each also making one sale a day. If I pay my affiliates 50% of the sale, then for each sale they make I get roughly $23.50 a sale (minus fees if any). So what’s happens to my sales? I’ve now made about $822.50 a week, and that’s just from my affiliates. Big difference from $329 a week.

If your information product is making sales at all, you’ll want to think about introducing an affiliate program at some point. You’ll have so much more potential for boosting your income even with paying 50% commission to your affiliates.

As a web based freelancer there are certain resources that allow us to make our jobs easier, faster and or more manageable. Everyone has a set of tools they rely on daily and recommend to others, below is a list of my top four tools and why I use them along with how you can use them too.

The tools below are all free, accessible to anyone and relatively easy to use. A simple download, registration and or sign up is all that is required to use and or access them along with a strong desire to succeed. If you use any of these and something tells me (since you’re most likely a freelancer or aspire to be one) that you might be a regular user of at least one of the tools on my list, do leave your feedback below in the comment area.

1. Google Docs – this is one of my most widely used tools and it encompasses a variety of tools under the one umbrella. Google Docs is a comprehensive web based resource for word processing and creating spreadsheets among other types of documents. It’s feature rich and just about any type of word processing can be created using this neat and 100% free resource. I use it for writing my blog posts then transferring them to my sites, writing guest articles for my clients and also to create various spreadsheets where I keep track of certain freelance activities. If my laptop should fry, freeze or otherwise not become operational I am not dependent on it for my articles. I just go to Google Docs on ANY computer or laptop and there my docs await. This can be very refreshing since I depend on my articles and my word processor to put food on the table. Amen. I switched over from a traditional computer-based word processing format to web-based about a year or so ago and haven’t looked back since.

2. WordPress – in my humble opinion, the best CMS of all the CMS systems on the block. With WordPress, I can create any type of blog or website including an e-commerce shop, a company website, a blog, a portfolio and anything else I could wish for. The software is 100% free to download, use and upgrade. There’s a slight learning curve to get started as it’s a robust and powerful system, however once you get the initial set up out of the way, it’s smooth sailing and really all CMS systems are – learn as you go. Best thing to do should you want to learn WordPress and use it to create your blog or website, is to find a blog you like, see if they use WordPress and send them an email. If the blogger has been around for close to year or longer, odds are he or she will know the system well and would be happy to guide you along. That really is your best bet for training and or help with WordPress, another blogger.

3. PayPal – how would freelancers get paid without PayPal is a mystery to me. PayPal opened up a can of awesome, when it landed across freelance desks everywhere. About 60% of my income is processed through PayPal as I am a freelance writer and the companies and or clients I work for pay me via this method. Yes there’s a fee and this stinks however PayPal makes up for it in convenience, accessibility and ease of use. Is it right for you? One way to find out is to visit the PayPal site and see how they stack up against the other options available to web based freelancers.

4. Twitter – social media is also a great tool for web based freelancers as it connects peeps from all walks of life and every corner of the globe. Twitter is great for networking, chatting, socializing, content sharing, research, jobs, leads, information, press and so much more. There are many articles on the web discussing the many ways to best take advantage of this tool and how best to get benefit from it. I would start by looking up how to get Twitter followers, how to tweet, best tools for Twitter, etc. Twitter is also great for following those you genuinely have an interest in and want to know better.

Share with us below in the comment area what are some of your must have tools as a web based freelancer? I await your responses below and see what other goodies we can discover together.

So you want to make money blogging, right? You could be one of those aspiring bloggers who got your inspiration from a successful A-List blogger like, Darren Rowse, Chris Garret, Daniel Scoco, Pat Flynn, Annabel, or so, for instance.

You could have been inspired by the amount of exposure these bloggers get, their blogging community, their products/services and more importantly their income reports (some bloggers publish income reports on a regular basis, like Darren and Pat).

That’s a great motivation for sure. And then you start a blog hoping that you will also get rich by earning six figures and dump your day job and get the money rolling in while your sip exotic rum drink at Hawai.

And then you try hard, harder and harder enough to miserably fail. It so happened because you set your expectations high. And you aimed for the wrong target.

Let me tell you a couple of facts that you already know, but you are not ready to accept them. I tell you, unless you accept these two facts and incorporate them in your blog success strategy, you won’t get what you want out of your blog.

On to the facts….

You won’t get rich quick blogging

This fact is well established now. You’ve heard a LOT of established bloggers talk about this. You know this fact very well already, but you’re not accepting it.

Even though you know from the bottom of your heart that making money through blogging is not the “push button” kind of stuff, you’re simply not accepting it (sorry I had to say it again to emphasize!).

Even now you look around for software, plugins, shortcuts etc. that are push button type. This implies that you’ve not accepted that push buttons don’t work. Not just now, but they have never worked even in the past too.

So now you ask, isn’t that all those bloggers you mentioned above are making enough money to be a full time blogger? Isn’t that they are earning so much enough to support their family without having any other job?

Yes these, and many other successful bloggers do earn cool figures. But do look at the histories of Darren, Annabel and Pat. They did not use any push button.

Darren has put in about 10 years in developing his blogging career. 10 years, and now Darren is the Problogger. Can you tell me that is push button? Is that overnight success? Nope!

Annabel is in the field since 1995, and learned from lots of her mistakes. She has put in substantial years of hard work. Is that a quick scheme? Nope!

Patt was laid off economically from his earlier day job and worked hard to get there. Is that push button? Nope!

So now I introduce to you the next important, but in-acceptable fact.

Your blog won’t earn you money

I know, that’s such a negative statement to you. Truth is sometimes bitter.

So how does these popular bloggers’ blogs make them money? They don’t.

Yes blogs don’t make money; YOU have to.

These bloggers earn money from his products, by promoting affiliate products, by doing coaching, speaking in conferences and seminars and so on.

So has “make money blogging” become an invalid theory? Or just a search term? Not so.

It depends on you identifying your clear cut goal on what you want to accomplish with your blog. Your blog can help you make money but it won’t do it for you. That’s the point I’m trying to make here.

If you’re thinking about money in terms of a few extra dollars in mind, then yes may be your blog can make you money with those adsense units out there.

But I’m talking about some fair amount of money here; money, with which you can actually pay your bills, and even run a full living out of it.

Then why blog?

If money is not involved, it is quite disappointing given that you’re not simply blogging for fun. But that’s not the end of the story. There’s still hope: I just said your blog will help you make money.

Your blog can serve as any or all of the following:

A portfolio for your talents/expertise

Let’s say you’re a rocking social media strategist. If you blog about social media marketing and other social media related topics in a consistent manner, people will soon recognize that you’re indeed an expert in the area.

Your blog now serves as a portfolio where you have expressed your expertise. You’ve just made it clear to people what can be expected from you. People know what you’re good at.

This will help you increase your popularity on the web, in the associated niche. This will lead to leads.

Disclaimer: I’m assuming here that you really know your stuff!

A store

Yes you can simply offer your services/products on a website that is associated with a blog which talks about the importance of those services in general (not that it is important because you’re offering it; that would be desperate pitching).

A community of potential customers/clients

Indeed blogging is not monologue. If you encourage comments and discussions from your visitors, you can easily develop a community with your blog. This community can be your potential clients or customers since they’re are already interested in what you’re offering at your blog.

You can also “capture” this community in a systematic way by building an email list.

Bottom line

Your blog is the trump card to boost your business. If properly streamlined and done in a professional way, your blog will help doing the marketing job for your business.

If you think writing and publishing blog posts will earn you money, you’re wrong. You need to identify the goal of your blog in the first place and then devise an appropriate action plan to achieve that goal.

This way you’ll be earning money “through” your blog.

Please share your thoughts in the comments. I’m all ears; just let me know if you agree or disagree!

When you run a paid membership site, you need to find the healthy balance between free and paid content. Your free content is the bait that attracts new users to your paid membership site and you can’t do without it but your paid content is the stuff that (supposedly) makes you money. How do you decide which content goes into the free section and which is only for paid members?

This could be a tricky question – you need to know where to draw the line. While there are no rules fixed in stone, here are some basic principles to keep in mind when deciding how to separate your free and paid content.

If It Is Really Precious, It Ought to Be Paid

Your free content must be valuable but it obviously shouldn’t be more valuable than the paid content. This is easy in theory but in practice you might frequently have problems to sort what goes where. Needless to say, your paid members deserve the best, so you’ve got to keep the tastiest bites for them. But how do you this while still keeping your free members (and would-be members) well fed?

First, you need to decide which is the most valuable part of your content. This varies from site to site and from one business to another. For instance, a client of mine used the following strategy with his ebook site: he had a pair of ebooks for each topic – a 20 page one that was free to download and the full version (100+ pages) for the paid members.

The shorter book was a standalone product and you could benefit from it even without getting the 100+ page one but the thick book was where the secrets were hidden and the strategies that were just briefly mentioned in the short one were discussed in more detail. Essentially, the 20 page book was an abridged version of the full edition and even though it was valuable in itself, the really precious stuff was in the larger book.

The Bait Is Free

The example in the previous section is just one of the many strategies you can use to stimulate the interest of your users. However, if you feel you need a real bait, you need to modify the strategy a bit.

If we continue the example in the previous section, we could have done this. Just list the Table of Contents (i.e. the points that constitute the solution of a problem) and add that the real advice isn’t free. However, this isn’t much of a bait because your users aren’t getting a preview of what the real advice is and they are right to think you are just making promises you may or may not keep.

This is why it is best to modify the strategy a bit. You can give parts of the 100+ page book (i.e. Chapters 1 and 2 in their entirety) for free and mention that the rest is for paid members only. It goes without saying, that the quality of the rest of the book must be the same or even better than the quality of the bait; otherwise your paid members will feel scammed.

If you have more than one membership level (i.e. paid membership, free membership, and content that is generally available to everybody online), you can make the following division. For instance, if the membership site in question is a job board, you can have the first one or two paragraphs (without the name and the contact info of the employer) of the ad visible to everybody (and indexed by search engines, of course), the rest of the job ad (i.e. the requirements and the compensation but not the contact info) visible to free members and the full text (with the contact info) visible only to paid members.

This feels fair because everybody can see what you have on site, register for free, if interested, and upgrade to a paid membership to contact the employer, if he or she meets the requirements and wants to apply.

If You Can’t Sell It, Give It for Free

This isn’t exactly the situation an owner of a paid membership site dreams of but since it is not an uncommon scenario, the best you can do is take advantage of it. In other words, when life serves you lemons, make lemonade. If you have good content that despite your efforts and all the promotion you are giving it still doesn’t sell well, consider using it as a promotion tool and start giving it for free. If you are lucky, it could go viral and bring you many more visitors.

However, you need to be cautious with this because if you are doing it on a regular basis, this can seriously cut your profits. In a sense, it gets similar to discounts at stores – if you discount good recent stuff, your customers will soon learn that if they wait a bit they can get it for a fraction of the price or in your case – for free. Therefore, use this strategy only occasionally, otherwise it will turn against you.

Once you become more experienced in managing a membership site, you will learn what works for you. Till then don’t fear to experiment to discover which content you can sell and which content you’ll have to make free – either as a bait, or as a promotional resource.

Blogs and review sites are springing up every time on the internet. Have you done a search on Google recently, I’m sure you would discover pretty new sites that are ranking highly on top 10, of whatever search engine you are using.

We have been misled with false promises.

A typical make money products always come with a catchy sales copy. If you fall as a prey to this hype-e marketers, you’re sure going to bite your polished fingers.

When I started out marketing online, that was about 4 years ago, I only knew about make money products. Although I saw and read about dating and getting ex back stuffs, I never really knew you can make money off those niches.

But I was wrong – I short-changed myself and struggled for over 2 years before striking my first $1000. Does my story sound similar to your life experience? Then, this article is going to be the best you’ve ever read today about earning money making on the internet.

Is It Hard To Sell Make Money Products?
My answer is a 2-edged sword and they are: Yes and No.

Why Yes!

If you do your due research properly, you can make money selling in this niche. It’s highly competitive, but the audience are targeted, they are ready to buy and if you’re clever, earning 5 – 6 figures yearly is sure. Even though this is a fact, I failed woefully on my bid to make money marketing hitherto. But I know what happened, I’ll tell you a moment. Just read on…

Why No!

If you’ve struggled to profit with those fancy and hype-e affiliate offers, I advice you relax a bit and think. If you can think for about 3 – 5 minutes, an idea would pop into your brain and your entire life would become brand new. 78% of people in this niche are marketers – in fact, they are desperate to make money more than you are. You need to be more savvy, enthusiastic and generous to succeed in this niche. In my entire business life, I haven’t seen a niche as hot, competitive and failure-driven as this, not even the credit card niche.

Why waste time on this niche, with all the stress and hassles when you can profit faster, and easier with other niches. Just last month, I came across a niche that is still fertile, few web pages already on Google and there is a great chance of making money quickly, before other desperate marketers emerge.

Here’s The Litmus Test: Some of the internet marketers who make 5 – 6 figures started out promoting products on less competitive sub-niches like acne, eczema, get ex back etc. Although, these niches are also getting their share of the competition but you’re likely to make money faster with them.

Well explained huh? Alright, for those of us who really want to profit on the internet selling “make money products,” without considering the stress in it, here are 5 keys to profit, and eliminate failure.

(1). Focus On Credibility

How credible are you? This is the major reason why beginners to internet business do not succeed. No one is willing to buy from you because, they are afraid. They don’t trust you and maybe, you could be one of those hit-and-run marketers who are roaming about looking for who to devour. Until you’re proven, not even a dummy can fling out his credit card to buy from you.

Whether you promote affiliate programs, or you created and launched your own info-product, build your credibility and it will build your pocket with cash.

(2). Focus On Authenticity

Have you tried the product you’re promoting? If you haven’t I suggest you at least know the pros and cons of it. Do you know that without knowing what a particular e-book contains, even your product reviews and email copy is going to be mediocre. Prospects would see this even from 20 miles away and ignore it. No matter how well you’ve talked about something, show some proof that it works. Even when you have not tried the product before, contact the product creator to extract some vital things.

(3). Focus On Driving Targeted Traffic

Not all traffic is good. Take for instance, one of my tiny niche blogs is getting less than 10 visitors a day from Google, but I make at least 1 sale. That’s a big conversion. What would happen if I receive 100 visitors daily, that’s a total of 10 sales or thereabout. Make Money Niche has lot of audience, don’t try to get everyone to your site. Focus on driving those that are ready to buy right now. You’ll know this people from the keywords they search with.

Buyer keywords usually have add-ons like reviews, fast, quick, fastest, easiest, buy, purchase, price, comparison, get, download etc. These keywords show that the persons using it are pre-sold on the products. You just need to give them a pat on the shoulder, and they would buy.

(4). Deliver Quality Information

If someone must buy from you, you need to feed them with quality information. How else can you show that the paid offer is going to be great – content remains the king and nothing rivals that. Several top marketers who earn fat checks are content driven. Jimmy D. Brown for instance doesn’t joke with helpful content that cements down into the veins of the reader. The more they read and felt happy, the greater their chances of wanting more. While in college, we learned that human beings are insatiable. Therefore, look out for ways to gladden the heart of your target customers and they would reward you accordingly.

(5). Build A Strong Bond

Relationship marketing remains the surest way to earn a living on the internet. It’s obvious, making money online is quite different from “earning a living.” When you take it as a business that must grow, invest and impact lives, if becomes a system that earns you a living. If that is what you desire, you need to build a strong bond – relate with buyers online and don’t scare them away with your “get rich quick” mindset. Change the way you think, it’s not all about the money but the “bond” behind it. It’s easier to sell to someone you know, than to a total stranger.

There you have it. 5 keys to make money selling “make money online product.” If you enjoyed this, why not share with your peeps, leave me a comment – I’ll meet you at the top as you take action today.
