A Video Marketing Blueprint That Will Knock Your Socks Off

Video marketing is one of the most effective ways to market you affiliate business. In fact, if you are not doing it I would highly encourage that you start. Chances are you have already written a handful of articles. Why not turn them into videos, and start getting heaps of traffic. It is a great way to reproduce your content, too.

Before you grumble and say, “Oh no, I got to go get a video camera, and some expensive software now.” Actually, no you don’t, in fact don’t go get one unless you really want too. Use ScreenToaster it is free and you can crate screen capture videos in powerpoint, or any program you want to use. In fact, use it until you get enough money to buy a digital camcorder.

Here is the exact blueprint that I use with video marketing:

1. Your videos need to be optimized for you keywords. This means placing your keywords in your file name (with dashes), description, and of course your tags.

2. Now make sure your videos are informative, but open ended. You have to provoke people to want to click on your link in the description tag. How to videos go like crazy on Youtube.

3. So what I do is do about 4-5 videos at a time and then mass submit them. I use tubemogul.com , they are awesome, and you can submit them to various video sites. It’s free so you can’t beat that too! Anything that is free and makes me money is a good thing!

4. Now here is a little inside tip that a lot of people don’t know about. Go to thetubeviews.net and you can buy a little package with channel views, video views, ratings, you name it. I know the site looks cheesy, but it does the job. Now, you probably won’t really make any money from the traffic you get from them on the front end. On the backend you will, and a lot of traffic to come.

Youtube SEO (YTSEO) is different than the search engine algorithm. It is based on channel views, video views, ratings, comments, etc. You need to have backlinks to the videos,too. I use social bookmarking to get backlinks to my videos. Also, use social media, for example, squidoo, hubpages, zimbio, weebly, wordpress, blogger, gather, scribd, ect to get some authority backlinks to your videos.

In time you will be pushed up to the top of YouTubes number one rankings, but more importantly you will show up in Google.
